Georgia Peach BBQ Sauce

Ingredients & recipe

Ketchup160 ml
Peach Jam4 tbsp
Apple Cider Vinegar45 ml
Brown Sugar30 g
Worcestershire Sauce1 tbsp
Smoked Paprika1 tsp
Garlic Powder1 tsp
Cayenne0.25 tsp

ml = milliliters / millilitri · tbsp = tablespoon / cucchiaio · g = grams / grammi · tsp = teaspoon / cucchiaino

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the peach jam melts into the sauce.
  3. Simmer 15–20 minutes on low until slightly thickened.
  4. Cool before use. Keeps refrigerated up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Use good quality peach jam with high fruit content. During summer, substitute 200g of fresh peaches (pureed) for the jam and reduce the brown sugar by half.
