Ingredients & recipe

Yellow Mustard120 ml
Apple Cider Vinegar60 ml
Honey3 tbsp
Brown Sugar2 tbsp
Worcestershire Sauce1 tbsp
Hot Sauce1 tsp
Black Pepper0.5 tsp
Garlic Powder0.5 tsp

Preparation

  1. Combine mustard, vinegar, honey, brown sugar and Worcestershire in a saucepan.
  2. Add hot sauce, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Heat over medium-low, stirring until sugar dissolves, 5-8 minutes.
  4. Should not boil — just warm to blend.
  5. Cool before using. Keeps refrigerated 3 weeks.

Notes

Unique in American BBQ — nothing else tastes like it. Excellent on chicken. Easier to make from scratch in Europe than to find commercially.
